Statistics: Russia’s inflation at zero in Mar 26–Monday
MOSCOW, Apr 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation slowed down to zero from March 26 through Monday from 0.1% a week ago, and reached 1.8% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for lamb meat grew 3.7%, millet 2%, for flour, and pasta by 0.5%, butter, bread, noodles, salt and tea by 0.4%, buckwheat 0.3%, rice, hard candies and biscuits 0.2%.
The chicken prices fell 0.5%, the pork and egg ones 0.4%.
Fruit and vegetable prices rose 0.3% on average.
Gasoline prices remained unchanged, diesel fuel ones fell 0.3%.
